What we do

Community Health Center

Serve the People Community Health Center is licensed by the State of California and is a Federally Qualified Health Center.  Opened in 2009, the Health Center offers an array of primary health care services which includes general medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, family planning, dentistry, optometry, Behavioral Health Services, health screenings, preventative care and health education. Our goal is to provide quality, patient-centered health information, education and clinical care to all members of the community regardless of economic or health insurance barriers. We accomplish this through collaborative services and referral resources to meet the health care needs of the patients we serve.

Our Services

At Serve the People Community Health Center we offer a one-stop shop for health care services to persons of all ages. By making medical, oral health, vision, and behavioral health services available in one location, we believe we are better able to care for all of our patients’ needs. 

What Every Patient Should Know

 At Serve the People Community Health Center, anyone is eligible to receive services, no matter their ability to pay. We accept most forms of health insurance, including Medi-Cal, Medicare, Denti- Cal and many other insurance plans

For uninsured patients we offer services on a sliding fee scale based on your family size and income.

If you or your family members do not have health insurance we can help you apply for coverage. We have a benefits counselor to help patients determine their eligibility and apply for coverage, including insurance plans available under Covered California.  Special programs are available for services such as:
